ABOUT
Jenna McClelland is a songwriter and performer from Mobile, Alabama, shaped by a lifelong connection to music and faith. Raised in a musical family, her late father, Billy Earl McClelland, was a respected songwriter and guitarist who deeply influenced her love for honest storytelling and live performance.
Since beginning her own songwriting journey in 2013, Jenna has built a reputation across the Southeast for high-energy, heartfelt shows. Her early years performing in Maryville, Tennessee led to a move to Nashville in 2016, where she expanded her career and shared stages with established artists. After returning to Alabama, she formed a band with drummer Travis Patch, quickly becoming a favorite on the Gulf Coast.
In 2022, Jenna joined hit songwriter Elvie Shane as a touring backing vocalist. Performing with The Broken Arrows, she played major stages alongside artists including Brooks & Dunn and Dierks Bentley, and was featured on Shane’s 2023 single, “Jonesin’.” While the experience broadened her artistry, it ultimately confirmed her calling to return to the lead mic.
Now fronting a revitalized Gulf Coast band, Jenna steps fully into that calling with Hometown Hero, her debut album. Rooted in faith, hard-earned growth, and life on the road, her music reflects an artist grounded in purpose and committed to creating songs that connect—on stage and beyond.
